# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • The combination of salty turkey bacon and naturally sweet roasted sprouts converts even the most skeptical vegetable eaters
  • Everything cooks on one sheet pan, making cleanup almost nonexistent
  • You can prep it in ten minutes and forget about it in the oven until dinner's ready
02 -
  • Crowding the pan will steam the sprouts instead of roasting them, so use two pans if necessary
  • The sprouts are done when they're deeply golden in spots and tender when pierced with a fork
  • Turkey bacon cooks faster than pork bacon, so keep an eye on it during the last few minutes
03 -
  • If the sprouts vary in size, cut the larger ones into quarters so everything cooks evenly
  • Let the pan sit in the hot oven for a few minutes before you start to ensure maximum heat
  • The darker and more caramelized the sprouts get, the sweeter and more flavorful they become
